Our first out of state leg of our adventure

We decided that it was toooooo darn cold in WA and so we packed everything up and departed at oh-dark-thirty and headed south for warmer climes. We arrived after 17 hours at Diana's brother's water ski lake after braving sub-freezing temps (it was 9 degrees driving through Chehalis, WA), but clear skies (thank goodness). We will post pics and stuff later this week, but for now we are just catching up on sleep, relaxing and sitting(alot) in the hot tub. The girls have been tearing it up on the lake in the pedal boat and are seriously thinking about how to catch one of the catfish that live in the lake. It is a balmy 54 degrees today, light rain but that is better in my book than the clear skies and 26 we had last week. I know, I know, post pictures, I will take care of that soon, otherwise, that is all for now. I think I need a nap.....F.

Postus Uno-us

Now sit right back and you'll hear a tale, a tale of a mighty ship...er, trailer, four passengers drove away one day on a 3 hour, I mean, uh (let's see, 365x24, carry the one, um...)8,670 hour (minimum, your mileage may vary) tour, a long American tour (pause for lightning and thunder, hold the rolling ocean please) The weather started getting rough, the tiny trailer moved on to better weather...The passengers landed on a tropic isle, wait, this whole Gilligan thing is not working as well as we imagined. We hope everyone can keep up with our adventures along side us as we keep everyone posted on this blog whilst we travel about. Be sure to point out things we shouldn't miss, especially the out of the way places the locals know about and the average tourist wouldn't. Here's to a wonderful adventure, our own share of mishaps to learn from and laugh at and meeting a bazillion or so new cool peeps. Stay tuned, same bat time, same bat channel.....
